Taylor was born and raised in Charlotte, NC and graduated from UNC Charlotte in 2008 with a degree in Psychology with a minor in Exercise Science. While in school, he trained the faculty and students which pursued him to get his National Association of Sports Medicine (NASM) OPT certification. After graduating he began a six- year career working for Carolina's Medical Center in an outpatient program for kids with psychological/behavioral problems.
Since then, Taylor has been a personal trainer in the Charlotte area for more than ten years. Working at the Dowd YMCA, Peak Fitness and Fitness Together Southend. At Fitness Together, he played a crucial role in the merging of one-on-one training to provide group training as well.
Taylor has an aggressive style of training and is a stickler for form. Helping to educate clients on flexibility and the importance of proper form, he has a lengthy track record of results and satisfied clients. He has recently obtained the Corrective Exercise Science (CES) certification from NASM. He has also recovered from ACL surgery, which has helped him understand what potential clients go through. The view behind Functional Fit Charlotte is to make sure our client's have success and making sure they see the results they want while limitiing their risk of injury.
Sarah was born and raised in Corpus Christi, TX and graduated from Texas Tech University in 2010 with a degree in Exercise Sports/ Sciences with a minor in Nutrition. Fitness has always been Sarah's passion as she worked at the universities' recreational center as a personal trainer/group exercise instructor and interned with the Texas Tech Strength & Conditioning Program.
Fast forward, after working in a physical therapy facility and the Cooper Institute she then moved to Charlotte in 2012 and started as a personal trainer/program coordinator at the Charlotte Athletic Club. Getting to cross paths with Michael Jordan, Cam Newton and other athletes (to name a few) was amazing exposure!
Sarah then branched out to the managerial side of the fitness world and managed the Fitness Together Southend and most recent, Orangetheory Fitness Charlotte-University.
Taylor and Sarah met at Fitness Together Southend where they discovered their training style is very similar- Sarah's just less aggressive (wink).

Davis grew up in Cincinnati, OH and attended both High Point University and University of Cincinnati, graduating from the latter with a degree in Communication. Davis walked on to the High Point University baseball team, where he played for 2 seasons as an outfielder. He realized his passion for fitness through the strength program at High Point, but it wasn't until he moved to Charlotte in 2014 that he decided to become ACE certified and start training. After running bootcamps for friends and small group training for a few different companies, Davis became a trainer at Elite Wellness. His high-energy, results driven style of training syncs with small group and 1x1 training. Davis has a proven track record of helping clients lose weight and inches, increase strength, as well as improving their balance and flexibility. If a client commits to his program and gives great effort, he guarantees they will achieve the desired results!
